I serve as the Family Advocate at Western Learning Center. Before stepping into this role, I worked as the Administrative Assistant at Western for three years. Now at retirement age, I don’t currently plan to pursue further education or a new role—but as the saying goes, “never say never.”

Over the past 14 years working with Greater Philadelphia Community Services, I’ve had the joy of watching children grow from toddlers into high schoolers. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey. I make it a point to remember their names throughout the years, and nothing brings me more delight than seeing a familiar face and being greeted with surprise and joy when I still remember their name.

A few fun facts about me: I’m a jazz enthusiast, I enjoy debating, and I love playing Scrabble. I also have a deep love for reading—whether it’s ancient history or an Ian Fleming novel—and I always pair my reading time with music of all kinds.
