Throughout my school years, I was fortunate to be influenced by educators who instilled in me a love of learning and a deep appreciation for reading. I went on to graduate from Cheyney University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and hold a Level 1 Teaching Certificate.

Over the years, I’ve been trained in a variety of literacy curricula and assessment tools, including Reading Horizons, Success for All, Journeys, DIBELS, SRI, iReady, and the American Reading Company's IRLA. I’ve had the opportunity to work with students across all grade levels, but some of my most meaningful and rewarding experiences have been in early childhood education.
